Rail Transport – Fast Connection Between Katowice and Sosnowiec

Since Humanitas University is located in Sosnowiec, near Sosnowiec Główny (Sosnowiec Main Station), many attendees may prefer to stay in Katowice, the largest city in the region and the capital of the Silesian Voivodeship. With its well-developed accommodation, dining, and tourism infrastructure, Katowice serves as a key transit hub and an ideal base for travelers. Additionally, the city is well-connected by interregional buses and trains, making it an important transfer point for those traveling to Sosnowiec.

For the most convenient travel between Katowice and Sosnowiec, we highly recommend taking a train. Koleje Śląskie (the regional railway operator) runs frequent services on this route, with trains departing approximately every 20 minutes during the day and a travel time of just 5–7 minutes. This makes the train the fastest and most efficient mode of transport between the two cities.
